Asexual and Aromantic Connection & Conversation

Saturday, May 2nd

10:30 am

Room: Mesa

101

In a world where sex sells and society encourages us to structure our lives around connections that include a romantic or sexual element, the asexual and aromantic label can sometimes be isolating. This session is a chance for anyone who has embraced either of these labels, is curious about them, or cares about someone who is, to talk openly about the joys and challenges that can arise around intimacy, communication, and expectations. This session is an opportunity to build community, connect with others who share similar experiences, and exchange stories together. It will not be a traditional session with a presenter sharing information, but instead an invitation to share stories and provide support to those in attendance through prompts and questions.

Key Takeaways

1.

Learn more about the shared aromatic and asexual experience.

2.

Develop a shared sense of community and connection for those on the aromantic or asexual spectrum.
