Ashley Meyer (she/her) is the head organizer of Chicago Polyamory Connection (MeetUp & Facebook), one of the largest polyamorous communities in the Midwest. She comes with a wealth of knowledge as a queer, Hispanic, polyamorist that has practiced polyamory for 15+ years in a variety of relationship dynamics and spaces. This includes practicing polyamory in the South and now the Midwest. Ashley is an educator with diversity and equity training which she uses to help mold consensual and safe spaces for polyamorous people both in online spaces and communal gatherings.
Edward Flewellen, Tyra Flewellen, and Vernice Williams are the core Co-Founders of Regal Love, a Pennsylvania registered nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through, mental and emotional wellness, relationship education, and inclusive dialogues focusing on ethical relationship structures, traditional and non-traditional. We are dedicated to creating safe educational spaces where individuals can explore practices such as consent, communication, emotional accountability, and healthy connections.
Through community initiatives, like PolyTalk with Regal Love, guest speaking with various community events, and personal experiences, we strive to help others to explore a variety of topics, including but not limited to: compersion, boundaries, jealousy, and relationship communication. Our Team is committed to helping communities create stronger relationships, built on a foundation of respect, consent culture, emotional intelligence, and community care.
Shellina Borgman (she/they) is a licensed mental health counselor and a polyamory and Kink educator. She has been practicing ethical-nonmonogamy for a little over three year with their spouse and nesting partner. They have been involved in the Kink community for almost as long. They consider themselves a two-spirit poly pandemic (Pansexual and Demisexual).
They are excited to present at Midwest Love Fest for the first time for Gender Expansive Relating (Non-binary Version). They are passionate about educating others throughout their polyamory journey. She uses her personal knowledge and experiences as well as knowledge gained through their career as a mental health counselor.
