Disabled folx experiences and relationship needs are often left out of conversations. This presentation highlights the impact on the relationship constellation of not taking emotional and sexual needs of disability into account. We will explore the flexibility that nonmonogamy creates as a possible solution to disabled relationship needs. We will explore and practice deconstructing ableism in relationships using psychoeducation and case studies. Participants will be able to identify barriers for disabled folx and be able to better support the sexual needs of people with disabilities. Attendees will come away with new skills to be sexually inclusive in their non-monogamous practices.
