Navigating polyamory can be complicated enough when your attraction fits society's expectations, Doing it under the umbrella of aromanticism or asexuality complicates things further.
Led by a polycule whose members each identify in different places along the ace and aro spectrums, this class balances research and definitions with lived experience and personal best practices. We'll unpack the differences between asexuality and aromanticism, discuss common ace/aro assumptions and experiences, explore how these experiences may or may not inform identity, distinguish "identity" from "experience," share our personal and partnered journeys, and offer considerations for navigating ethically non-monogamous relationships when you — or someone you love or are interested in — is aromantic and/or asexual.
