SWLF 2026 workshop submissions are OPEN.

We would be honored if you could share your insights and knowledge at our event. Your contribution would greatly enhance the quality of the conference and provide invaluable perspectives to our audience.


Please note: Presenter applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Submissions are considered as they are received, and accepted presenters will be notified throughout the review period until all session slots are filled. We encourage early submission for best consideration.

What Does Being A Workshop Presenter Look Like?

May 1-3, 2026 Phoenix, AZ.

With your workshop, you will provide an experience to anywhere from 30-150+ attendees. This might be an artistic, somatic, information/experience sharing, interactive, combinations of these or other forms of experience. Workshop slots are 90 minutes.

Each workshop presenter receives a full conference ticket and access to our community contributor perks.

Presenters are also paid an honorarium. Last year we paid $100 per workshop. We expect to pay $110 per workshop in 2026.

All travel and lodging must be arranged by the presenter. We do not book travel or hotel rooms. Travel, hotel reimbursements, supplies reimbursement or additional honorariums can be requested based on need and are granted within budget allowances.

Presentation Needs

Example Set-Up: theater style, horseshoe, tables, etc. Example A/V Requests: projector with screen, clicker, paper flip chart.

All presentation materials are due 60 days prior to conference (ex: PowerPoint Slides, Sheets, Canva, or .pdf's). LFE provides computers and A/V equipment. Presenters are required to use wireless microphones provided to ensure accessibility for attendees.

Presenter Compensation

Honorarium:

  • $100 per individual workshop.
  • $100 per co-presented workshops or panels, divided amongst presenters.

Conference Access:

  • Full weekend ticket for the presenter.
  • Discounted rate for one additional guest.

Meals:

  • $25 per diem for meals on Friday and Saturday. Total $50

Additional Support (Upon Request):

  • Travel reimbursement based on distance, subject to budget limits.
  • Discounted accommodations, as needed.

Caps on Compensation:

  • Travel and accommodation reimbursements capped based on available funds.
